This app doesnt work under any circumstance.

Still buggy as hell

Revised: now one star. Long-term bugs STILL never get fixed. Yesterday I log in again, get to the main page, and retirement account fails to display balance. I click on it, app freezes. Today, an error message and cant log in at all. Terrible app and poorly managed by Paychex.

Performance issue

Performance is a serious issue with this app. This should be tuned a lot to improve performance.

Unusable

Not enough servers? App is unusably slow and buggy (just like the website) even where internet connection is good. Timeouts, "unexpected errors", "something went wrong..." etc... Testing needs to continue on live system after release

Still no Touch ID Support in 2017.... Unacceptable!

This app should have Touch ID by now. Its long overdue and sets this app back years behind every other app used for viewing sensitive financial information. Wouldnt recommend it because logging in is always a hassle! Please fix the one thing thats keeping this app from being useful and convenient!

Doesnt know Im currently employed despite notifications pay-stubs are ready to view!

One star because a zero star rating is not an option. I cannot access payroll stubs for the company I am currently employed with. The company in which Paychex says I am no longer employed with. The same company that says I am an active employee of a former company that I once worked for. Once again...the same company that just sent me a notification on my phone that my pay stub was ready to be viewed, which was posted by the company I supposedly dont work for anymore. I just want to view my pay stubs! I tried to use the live chat option and was connected to Derek K. I proceeded first with a pleasant greeting and then spent time explaining my issue. I didnt use one long paragraph but just a few sentences and would send. I wanted the service rep to know I was there and in need of assistance despite knowing he was getting the notice on the bottom of the chat that informs the other person that the customer was typing. So I completed my issue of why I needed help only to watch as nothing happened and then read that the rep disconnected the chat. So that was fun. Thank you Derek! Next, I called and was put on hold until the next service rep was available. That worked out well as I was disconnected after already waiting for 15 mins. Some may say my call dropped since I was on a cell phone but as some and most may know, it would let me know if the called was dropped on my end. It did not say that so thanks for wasting more time of my day. So after many attempts to get help, I ended up right where I started...sh*t out of luck forced to try again another day.

This app always closes out as soon as I get my login in. Deleted an re downloaded still nothing.

No bueno

I tried logging in the other day to check my pay stub and it didnt work. The web version of the site wasnt working either so that was inconvenient. Now the app has been updating for literally hours today. So annoying, just hurry up already!

No Support for Landscape Mode in iPad; Touch ID Would Be Nice

Ive not even been using this app for a day, so I cant speak for its long-term stability or usability, but it seems to do what I would need it to do... I can view pay stubs and tax documents, and can share them via text or e-mail or print them wirelessly. However, this app does not support landscape mode on the iPad, which is aggravating when using a bluetooth keyboard, which is how I use my iPad 99% of the time. Ironically, landscape mode is supported on my iPhone. Also, it would also be nice if this app supported Touch ID for logging in, as well as the ability to change my password. Lastly, while not technically part of the app, the web site is not very compatible with Safari on Mac OS X, and is only slightly more compatible with Firefox on the same operating system. It also requires Flash, which Id prefer to not have installed on my computer.

Not a working app!!

What a waste of time. The app didnt work, when you call the customer care there is no option for technical complaints. Also, the web version doesnt show me the tab to view my stubs? Why should anyone be using this - NO IDEA!! I will just have to ask my employer to email me the stubs!! Ahh.. Good old email is better than using an application as useless as this one.

Needs Updating

"This app is optimized for iPhone 5." When I called to resolve log-in issues, I found that I must call back during YOUR most convenient business hours. At the very least, you could outsource your customer service to an answering service over the weekend to better serve the customer/consumer. This is not what I expected from a professional company.

Worthless waste of time...

Apple devices cannot view the online site. I went to download the app and found that our company had to have some other feature activated for this app to work. Our HR team called to inquire and was told that the feature wasnt available. Now I have to fire up a computer just to access my account.

Closes out of app!

Anytime I open the app, it goes to the log in screen then closes the app. Uninstalled and reinstalled; still nothing. They dont even have a mobile version to use on the browser of your phone. Not what expected from a "professional" app.

Paychex is just the worst

What is the point of this app? Seriously! I can never view my pay stubs so why have it? I cant log in to the website version because it forces you to the app. The app that DOES NOT WORK. I have had nothing but problems with Paychex. Honestly they are just the worst.
